Did you know that I started working on my Beating Back the Darkness series over 10+ years ago? My debut novel, Dragon's Fire, was officially released (the first time) back in 2015, but the book had been in works for a few years. As I've worked to finish the rest of the soon-to-be 6 book series (4 novels & 2 novellas), I had to work with 5 different artists/designers. I think they did a good job based on what I'd asked of them, but having a unified style across the entire series just wasn't realistic back then. Not to mention there's the whole series labeling and numbering issue that naturally arises when you incorporate companion books to a series.
Giving the series a makeover with some updated covers, logo, and titling is something I've wanted to do for a few years now. That's why I've decided to venture out onto Kickstarter once more. It's been nearly 7 years since my last campaign, but it's time. The series needs the facelift, and you can benefit greatly through the epic rewards I'll be offering.
I've been working with the team at Bad Moon Art Studio to help outline a plan and the cost of such a project. This Kickstarter will have a modest base goal of $1,000. While this won't even cover half of the costs, it will still be a huge help! I've also got a number of really fun rewards that we can unlock via stretch goals that go well beyond the base goal.
